(BMC) firmware for the Stratus ftServer family of computer
systems using Red Hat® Enterprise Linux®. Contact Stratus Customer Services or your support
provider for assistance installing this firmware.

5700 systems, operating Red Hat® Enterprise
Linux® with ftServer system software releases
4.0.1.0 and above.
It is
not mandatory to update BMC firmware to 5.0.0 on
ftServer 2400, 4300, 4600, and 5700 systems. However, it
is recommended that the BMC firmware be updated to 5.0.0
when upgrading to ftServer software 4.0.1.1 or above in
order to acquire bug fixes.
