Software upgrades to the Baseboard Management Controller
(BMC) firmware for the Stratus ftServer family of computer
systems using the Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003 Operating
Systems. Contact Stratus Customer Services or your support
provider for assistance installing this firmware.

5700 systems operating ftServer system software releases
4.0.0 and above.
It is
not mandatory to update BMC firmware to 5.0.0 on
ftServer 2400, 4300, 4600, and 5700 systems. However, it
is recommended that the BMC firmware be updated to 5.0.0
when upgrading to ftServer software 4.0.1.0 or above in
order to acquire bug fixes.
